Dangerous Thinking

your worries might become your thoughts.
your thoughts might become your words.
your words might become your actions.
your actions might become your disposition.
your disposition may become you.

Web

Nick: is life a single chain of meaningless events or a meaningful web of events?
B: it's a meaningless web of entanglement
Nick: does that mean I should stab myself in the eye before I jump in?
B: the web is like our choices and event, and the more we move or get entangled (make choices) we attract the spider, which is life closer and closer which drains our being(spirit, soul, self what have you)
Nick: can you bring a weapon to fight the spider?
B: there in lies the question, is our weapon correct choices? Or is it impossible and are we doomed no matter what?
Nick: I would like to fight the spider and steal its soul
B: because with every choice we go further into life, so thus going further in does that make it impossible to not become entangled?
Nick: what if you could go back and take a different path would the resulting entanglement be the same? Is there a way out, maybe just one that will lead you through steadfast and painless?
B: what if there is no path, we are born into this web
Nick: and fate choices our one and only path ?
B: but we are doomed as being free to choose as humans are we not?
Nick: but what if choice is but an illusion ?
B: illusion of what? Would not fate be an unavoidable justification for the existence of God?
Nick: not most religions that hold a lot of value in fate value the one "god" thingy. Anyway it would not be fate if another being could control it. That would be more like puppets
B: but what sets the pre determined path? It seems that only choice can govern that
Nick: maybe we get one
B: just one?
Nick: one single choice
B: when? Where? And what?
Nick: ah but you see that is the question
B: those are many questions
Nick: you can sum it up into what is the choice we get to make?
B: hmm, I am having a problem with my statement of being born in this web...Because that would imply a kind of origin sin notion
Nick: yes, well then I with draw my one choice statement
B: but it seems impossible to avoid this entanglement , we will always be in life
Nick: what if you live the perfect life with no sin and all the virtues
B: that is am impossible probability, to live perfectly you would have to know you purpose in life
Nick: its not impossible just improbable one out a million billion will ever live it but its out there
B: so essentially if there is no purpose for you or you do not know it, your life is pointless
Nick: maybe

Kill the cheese monster!

I was walking alone on the street, then all the sudden an old man yells to me "Kill the cheese Monster!". I reply "Whhaaaat?" with the perfect clarity of an angel. The old man grimaces, while what seams like a mountain of cheese rises from behind him. My jaw drops to the floor, lucky I regained my senses just in time to evade the lob of hot molten cheese. "How am I suppose to fight that?" I scream out. "Use this" then old man hands me what appears to be a stale piece of bread. I grasp it in one hand. The cheese monster swings is cheesy arm to smash me into the ground. I parry his awesome blow with my stale loaf. We stare each other down; eye to cheesy bubble. I feel my strength give way as he launches back. I kip up regaining my composure. This was the last straw. I charge in blood raging. This cheese monster was not going to get the best of me. In a Epic smash my loaf meets face with the cheese monster. In one steady cleave I reduce this monster to nothing more than a residue on my bread. The old man looks to me with the greatest respect and admiration and he says "If your not gonna eat that can I have it?"
